New Partnership with PeerEver Recovery Services

We are proud to announce our new partnership with PeerEver Recovery Services, led by Tyler Pereversoff—a career firefighter with the Calgary and Okotoks fire departments. Tyler brings a wealth of lived experience, professional discipline, and unwavering resilience to the recovery community.

A lifelong athlete, Tyler achieved his 4th Dan in Tae Kwon Do in his twenties and overcame a fear of heights to train for high-altitude rescue operations. He has also competed as a bodybuilder and thrived in high-performance environments.

Tyler’s mental health journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic. While continuing to serve on the front lines, he experienced the profound mental and emotional toll of isolation and public tension. Despite having a loving family, he found himself retreating into more work—signs of anxiety, PTSD, and emotional detachment began to emerge.

After being prescribed medication that worsened his condition, Tyler experienced an emotional crash that left him suicidal. Despite undergoing several well-known treatments, including DBT, CBT, EMDR, and ketamine therapy, nothing brought lasting relief. Eventually, his family brought him home to BC, where a breakthrough came. Dr. Kirsten diagnosed Tyler with a rare nerve dysfunction causing constant cortisol release—triggering anxiety, depression, and hormonal imbalance.

Although the Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB)—the only effective treatment for his condition—was not available in Canada outside the military, Tyler was able to receive the treatment in the U.S. His recovery then included rTMS therapy and integrative psychological support, slowly helping him rebuild his life.

Today, Tyler is the founder of PeerEver Recovery Services, offering peer support, recovery coaching, and a compassionate bridge between clinical care and daily living. His work is rooted in lived experience—helping others who may feel lost in the medical system or unsupported through the personal side of recovery.

Tyler believes recovery isn’t just about surviving—it’s about learning to live again. Whether through one-on-one support, shared travel experiences, or rebuilding life routines, Tyler offers strength, kindness, and connection to those in need. Contact Tyler today.
